Hello again,
Thanks for the additional info on my Kistlers. I forgot to put in my message
yesterday that James M. Kistler died 6-21-1923, I beleive in Cass Co. In. and Sarah E. Butler Kistler died 1-17-1915 in Fairmont, In. Sarah was the
daughter of Hiram Butler and Hannah Jordan Butler. Also the 1900 census of
Cass Co. In. list James M. Kistler's occupation as a Butcher, and Sarah as a
Homemaker. Yes I live in Indiana, Jeffersonville is accros the river from Louisville,
Ky. I work at General Electric in Louisville, and am hoping for early
retirement in June 2000, I have 31 years service, so I hope I can go, I am 54
yrs old.  Well I am going to visit the web site that you sent me, thanks
again, talk with you later.... Tom

Hello,
Good to hear from you, yes your info is correct, they are the Kistlers I am
looking for, I do have some info on them after coming to Indiana. They
located in  Logansport, Cass Co. In.. James Monroe Kistler married Sarah
Butler on 10-10-1858, In Cass Co. her DOB was 3-27-1840.
Children: Emma Angeline Kistler, b.6-19-1860 d.6-8-1928 m. Stewart Cummings 11-4-1883
Martha Ellen Kistler, b. 12-14-1862 d. 2-7-1863 Alice Ann Kistler, b. 3-27-1866, m. Edward K. Myers
Nina Kistler, b. 1868, died infancy. Charles L. Kistler, b. 8-19-1870,  m. Lucenda Fitzpatrick Della Mariah Kistler, b. 5-10-1873(moved to New York) m. Edwin S. Gardiner,
6-30-1892 Pearl Maud Kistler, b. 12-27-1876, m. James E. Howard,

The 1900 census of Cass Co. listed only Charles living with father and
mother, and a granddaugher, Tresa Riley age 18, this is my Father's mother,
she is the Daughter of Emma Angeline Kistler,
I am not sure how the name Riley came to be, I could
never find anything on a marriage of Emma to a Riley,
still searching. I am told the Kistlers came from Switzerland
around 1760, a lady in Logansport, Barbara Wolfe does genealogy, and
she has more info on the Kistlers, from James Monroe on down. I would
appreciate any info you have about David Kistler, and his ancestors.
I am putting my Email address in this, in case it doesn't show up in the message
: my name is Thomas L. Price,
and my Email is halfprice69@cs.com
Thank you for your help, hope my info helps you.
I very much enjoyed viewing the info you have on the Kistler's, and I am
proud to be a part of it, waiting to hear from you.....Tom
